Ian Happ homers for second straight day Sunday

by David Leisering | Cubs Correspondent | Sun, Mar 29th 11:22pm EDT

Ian Happ went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in the Cubs' 6-3 loss to the Nationals on Sunday afternoon.

Fantasy Impact:

Happ went back-to-back with Alex Bregman in the bottom of the fourth inning against Washington starter, Jake Irvin, for his only hit of the game. The Cubs' left fielder is hitting 3-for-13 (.231) with two home runs and four runs batted in through three games this season. He has averaged 23 home runs over his last three seasons and should be a safe bet to reach that number in 2026.
