Gregory Soto pitches ninth in non-save situation Tuesday

Gregory Soto pitched a scoreless ninth inning on Tuesday, allowing a hit and a walk while striking out one in the Pirates' 8-3 win over the Reds.
Fantasy Impact:
Dennis Santana was used in the eighth inning to preserve a 6-3 lead which left Soto for the ninth inning. Oneil Cruz hit a two-run homer in the top of the ninth to make the bottom half a non-save situation. Soto, based on Tuesday's bullpen decisions, appears to have a slight edge on Santana for save opportunities. However, the closer situation in Pittsburgh will be interesting to monitor over the next few games.
