Jack Kochanowicz earns first win of season Saturday

Jack Kochanowicz tossed 5.2 scoreless innings on Saturday and allowed four hits while walking two and striking out seven as the Angels held off the Mariners, 1-0.
Fantasy Impact:
It was a much better start for Kochanowicz (1-0) than his season debut when he allowed five earned runs and five walks in four innings against Houston. Kochanowicz threw 86 pitches, 61 for strikes, in his 5.2 innings and his seven strikeouts were one shy of his career-best eight punchouts against the Yankees on June 18, 2025. He is tentatively slated to make his next start against Cincinnati next week.
