Moises Ballesteros homers, drives in three Tuesday

Moises Ballesteros hit a two-run home run in the ninth inning to cap off a 2-for-4 performance at the plate as the Cubs defeated the Rays, 9-2, on Tuesday. He finished the day with three runs batted in and a pair of runs scored.
Fantasy Impact:
Ballesteros opened the year as the Cubs' designated hitter, but his playing time had been trending down as he was just 3-for-20 with eight strikeouts through his first eight games. His first home run of the season came in the top of the ninth off of Rays' reliever, Yoendrys Gomez, giving him three RBI on the day which tied his career-high. He made the Opening Day roster, despite being a third catcher, for a reason. He hit .298 in limited time with the Cubs last season - as a 21-year-old - and then batted .357 during the spring. Ballesteros is now hitting .208 (5-for-24) with a home run and five RBI this season and, maybe this breakout performance will get him going.
