Michael Busch provided the Cubs' only run on Monday, belting a solo home run in a 2-1 loss to the Pirates.

Busch connected on an offering from Carmen Mlodzinski in the fifth inning to provide the Cubs' only run on Monday. It was his second homer in as many games and his third home run over his last eight contests. The first baseman is starting to come around, batting .286 with four home runs and 19 RBI in 23 games this month. Overall, he is hitting .230 with six home runs and 30 runs batted in on the year.
