Geraldo Perdomo scores twice in win over Mets Thursday
by David Leisering | Diamondbacks Correspondent | Thu, Apr 9th 11:42pm EDT
Geraldo Perdomo went 0-for-2 with a pair of walks and two runs scored to help the Diamondbacks to a 7-1 victory over the Mets on Thursday.
Fantasy Impact:
Perdomo is in the midst of a 1-for-17 slump over the last six games, but he used his plate discipline to reach base twice on Thursday, including a leadoff walk to start a four-run rally in the top of the seventh. Perdomo is just 7-for-41 (.171) with a home run, two stolen bases, and four RBI in 13 games this season. He does, however, have an impressive 8:2 BB:K ratio so, you have to believe that the hits will start coming sooner than later.
