Josiah Gray (elbow) yet to resume throwing program

by Bruno Mulé | Nationals Correspondent | Mon, Apr 13th 12:37pm EDT

Gray last appeared in a big-league game in April 2024 and missed most of the past two seasons following Tommy John surgery. A flexor strain at the end of spring training prevented him from joining the Opening Day rotation, and he is not eligible to come off the 60-day IL until late May. (MLB.com)

Fantasy Impact:

He has yet to resume a throwing program, working only on strengthening and stability, and the Nationals are proceeding cautiously enough that even the late May eligibility date may not reflect a realistic return timeline.
