Brenton Doyle has two hits, two steals Thursday

by David Leisering | Rockies Correspondent | Fri, Apr 17th 8:04am EDT

Brenton Doyle went 2-for-3 with a run scored and a pair of stolen bases as Colorado knocked off Houston, 3-2, on Thursday.

Fantasy Impact:

Doyle has been mired in a season-long slump but has shown signs of life with at least one hit in six of his last seven games. After seeing his average dip to a season-worst .129 on April 7, Doyle is 8-for-22 (.364) during the last seven contests. While the average is climbing, the power has not come as he has just one double, one home run, and one RBI in 18 games this season. Meanwhile, he is now 5-for-7 in stolen base attempts and is currently tied for seventh in the National League in steals.
