Tomoyuki Sugano hit hard by Dodgers Friday night
by David Leisering | Rockies Correspondent | Fri, Apr 17th 11:38pm EDT
Tomoyuki Sugano suffered his first loss of the season on Friday as the Dodgers won, 7-1, in Colorado. Sugano lasted four innings and allowed five runs on nine hits, walked two, and struck out three.
Fantasy Impact:
Sugano endured his worst outing of the young season against the powerful Dodgers' lineup in Coors Field on Friday. He allowed season-highs in runs (5) and hits (9) with five of the hits (four doubles, one home run) going for extra bases. Sugano had not allowed more than two runs in each of his first four starts, but he has now allowed at least one home run in all five of his appearances. He'll carry a 1-1 record with a respectable 3.92 ERA into his next start, currently lined up against the Padres on Wednesday.
