Ezequiel Tovar doubles in Friday loss to Dodgers
by David Leisering | Rockies Correspondent | Fri, Apr 17th 11:55pm EDT
Ezequiel Tovar doubled in three at bats on Friday as the Rockies could muster only two hits on the night and dropped a 7-1 decision to the visiting Dodgers.
Fantasy Impact:
Tovar moved into a tie for third in the National League with his eighth double of the year. He had one of Colorado's two hits against Dodgers' starter, Tyler Glasnow, and reliever, Jack Dreyer. The Rockies' shortstop is hitting .236 (18-for-76) with eight doubles, one home run, and six RBI. Tovar is two years removed from a 2024 season that saw him hit .269 with 26 home runs and 78 RBI, but he is well off the pace of trying to make a run at those numbers.
