Pauley tweaked his oblique while getting out of the way of an inside pitch during a seventh-inning plate appearance. He immediately exited the game, ending his night 0-for-2 with a strikeout. He will undergo further evaluation to determine the severity of the injury. Javier Sanoja took over at third base for the remainder of the game and should see the majority of starts there until Pauley returns.
