Ian Happ went 1-for-2 with a solo home run, two walks, and two runs scored to help the Cubs to a 4-2 victory over the Mets on Saturday.
Fantasy Impact:
Happ took Mets' starter Freddy Peralta deep to lead off the bottom of the second inning, tying the game at 1-1. He later walked and scored in the sixth. The home run was Happ's sixth of the year, putting him into a tie for fifth in the National League. Home runs have come in bunches for Happ this season as he homered in three straight games from March 28-30 and now has gone deep in back-to-back games. The batting average is still below average at .222 (16-for-72), but 10 of his hits (four doubles, six home runs) have gone for extra bases. He'll look to continue his homer streak on Sunday in the series finale against the Mets.
