Jameson Taillon won his first game of the season on Saturday as he allowed one run on five hits over six innings in a 4-2 win over the Mets.
Fantasy Impact:
Taillon walked three and struck out four in helping send the Mets to their 10th consecutive loss on Saturday. The righthander allowed four hits - including a solo home run by Mark Vientos - in the first two innings, but then pitched four scoreless frames of one-hit ball before exiting after six. Taillon has now pitched six innings in three consecutive starts, but has allowed six home runs in those 18 innings, leading to a 5.00 ERA in April. He'll take a 1-1 record and a 3.97 ERA into his next start, slated for Thursday against the Phillies at Wrigley Field.
