Corbin Carroll leads Arizona to win in grand fashion Saturday

Corbin Carroll had one hit on Saturday, but it was the biggest hit of the game as he launched a go-ahead grand slam home run in the bottom of the eighth to give the Diamondbacks a 6-2 win over the Blue Jays.

Fantasy Impact:

With the game tied in the eighth, Carroll hit a 3-1 pitch for a 389-foot home run off of Blue Jays' reliever, Jeff Hoffman, to give Arizona a 6-2 lead. It was Carroll's fourth grand slam home run of his career and was his third round tripper of the season. Carroll finished the day 1-for-3 with two runs scored, four RBI, and also stole his second base of the season. Although the power and speed categories are a bit off of his 31-32 pace from last season, the star outfielder is still off to a great start in 2026, batting .307 with a 1.018 OPS.
