Andrew Abbott labors in no-decision Saturday versus Twins
by Brenton Kemp | Reds Correspondent | Sun, Apr 19th 11:58am EDT
Reds left-hander Andrew Abbott allowed four runs (three earned) in just 4 2/3 innings of work in a no-decision Saturday versus the Twins.
Fantasy Impact:
Abbott wasn't sharp in this one, yielding six hits and three walks in his 4 2/3 innings of work, throwing 97 pitches in that time, only 52 of which went for strikes. He struck out three. Fortunately, the Reds' offense got him off the hook in an eventual 5-4 comeback win. That's 10 earned runs surrendered by Abbott in his last two starts in just 7 2/3 innings, as he will look to get straightened out in his next scheduled start at home against the Tigers on Friday.
