by David Leisering | Cubs Correspondent | Mon, Apr 20th 12:06am EDT
Pete Crow-Armstrong went 1-for-3 with a triple and scored the winning run on a sacrifice fly from Nico Hoerner in the bottom of the tenth as the Cubs defeated the Mets, 2-1. He was also hit by a pitch.
Fantasy Impact:
Crow-Armstrong hit his first triple of the season off of Mets' reliever, David Peterson, to lead off the bottom of the third. However, he was erased on an inning-ending double play. Crow-Armstrong was placed on second to start the tenth, advanced to third on a wild pitch, and came in to score the winning run on the Hoerner sacrifice fly. Crow-Armstrong is off to a slow start, batting just .222 with one home run and four stolen bases. He has struck out 25 times in 81 at bats.
