Jack Flaherty wild in no-decision Monday versus Red Sox
by Brenton Kemp | Tigers Correspondent | Mon, Apr 20th 8:25pm EDT
Tigers right-hander Jack Flaherty walked six hitters while allowing two unearned runs in a no-decision Monday against the Red Sox.
Fantasy Impact:
Flaherty was all over the place on Monday, throwing just 41 of his 73 pitches for strikes before being removed after just 3 1/3 innings. Additionally, his two unearned runs allowed were a result of his own wild throw to third base on a bunt attempt in the second inning. The right-hander still sports a 3.47 ERA through five starts, but he will look to rein in his control in his next scheduled start on Saturday in Cincinnati.
