Konnor Griffin went 3-for-4 with his first career home run and three runs batted in to lift the Pirates to a 6-0 victory over the Brewers on Friday. He also stole his fifth base of the year in the win.
Fantasy Impact:
The no-longer teenager took Brandon Woodruff deep for a solo home run in the top of the third inning to give the Pirates their first run of the game. He added a single and a stolen base in the fifth then finished off his night with a two-run single in the eighth. It was Griffin's first three-hit game and also the first three-RBI game of his young career. He's batting .214 (15-for-70) with one home run, 11 runs batted in, and five stolen bases through the first 20 games of his big league career.
