Zach Agnos collects save in game two Sunday

by David Leisering | Rockies Correspondent | Mon, Apr 27th 1:00am EDT

Zach Agnos pitched a scoreless ninth inning in game two of Sunday's doubleheader to earn his second save of the season. Colorado defeated the Mets, 3-0, in the second game to complete a sweep of the twinbill.

Fantasy Impact:

Agnos pitched around a one-out double by MJ Melendez to earn his second save of the year. He got the ball in game two as Victor Vodnik earned the save in the opener on Sunday. In nine appearances, spanning 17.1 innings, Agnos has a 5.71 ERA with a 16:7 K:BB ratio. The righthander may get a few more save chances, but Vodnik still seems to be the guy in Colorado. However, the Rockies have had five different pitchers record a save this season - so, who knows.
