Griffin Jax escapes damage despite four walks in no-decision

Griffin Jax allowed no earned runs on four hits and four walks while striking out one over five innings in Wednesday's 5-3 loss to the Toronto Blue Jays.

Fantasy Impact:

Outside of the first inning, Jax allowed at least one baserunner in every frame but worked out of trouble each time without surrendering a run. His pitch count climbed to 66 on Wednesday, marking his highest total of the season as he continues to build up as a starter. Through four starts this season, he owns a 1.29 ERA and 1.21 WHIP with eight strikeouts across 14 innings. His next scheduled outing is on Tuesday against the Baltimore Orioles.
