Jack Leiter allowed one earned run on three hits and three walks while striking out six over seven innings in Friday’s loss to the Astros.
Fantasy Impact:
Leiter has struggled to miss opposing bats of late, allowing three or more earned runs in five of his last seven starts. The right-hander has been one of the more frustrating starting options in the Rangers rotation for manager Skip Schumaker, posting a 4.35 ERA and 1.35 WHIP with a 1-4 record and 10.0 K/9 ratio through nine starts.
