Mitch Keller settles for no-decision Tuesday

by David Leisering | Pirates Correspondent | Wed, May 20th 6:22am EDT

Mitch Keller was charged for four runs on four hits over 5.2 innings on Tuesday as the Pirates lost to the Cardinals, 9-6, in 10 innings.

Fantasy Impact:

Keller walked one and struck out three and exited with a runner on and two outs in the sixth with the Pirates ahead, 4-3. However, Evan Sisk came on and allowed a two-run homer to Nolan Gorman, ending Keller's chance for a victory. In his last two starts, Keller has allowed 10 runs on 11 hits in 11.1 innings raising his season ERA from 2.87 to 3.86 in the process. He's lined up to start against the Blue Jays, in Toronto, on Sunday.
