Blue Jays right-hander Kevin Gausman pitched five innings of one-run ball in a no-decision on Wednesday versus the Marlins.
Fantasy Impact:
Gausman scattered six hits and walked two against five strikeouts in this one, but he needed 95 pitches to get through just five innings, his second-shortest start of the season in 12 trips to the mound. Nonetheless, he kept his team in the ball game, and the Jays would go on to win 2-1 thanks to a Kazuma Okamoto solo homer in the sixth inning. Gausman now sports a 3.13 ERA through 12 starts and lines up to take on the Braves in a tough road start on Wednesday.
