Daulton Varsho swipes key base in win over Phillies Tuesday
by Brenton Kemp | Blue Jays Correspondent | Wed, Jun 10th 4:11pm EDT
Blue Jays outfielder Daulton Varsho came off the bench to steal a key base and score the game-winning run on Tuesday against the Phillies.
Fantasy Impact:
Varsho entered the game as a pinch runner on first base in the bottom of the ninth on Tuesday. He stole second base before coming around to score the game-winning run on a Brandon Valenzuela single off of Phillies closer Jhoan Duran. The stolen base was Varsho's fifth of the season and his first since May 19. He is currently dealing with a wrist issue, and it is unclear if he will be back in the starting lineup on Wednesday.
