Tigers second baseman Gleyber Torres went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in his return from the injured list on Tuesday against the Rays.

Torres wasted no time in making an impact fresh off the IL, taking Rays starter Steven Matz deep for a solo home run to lead off an 8-0 win over the Rays on Tuesday. While the long ball was just his third of the season, Torres has been an important piece atop the Tigers' lineup when healthy, posting a .389 OBP and a .749 OPS across 33 games on the season.
