Kevin Gausman takes loss Tuesday versus Braves
by Brenton Kemp | Blue Jays Correspondent | Tue, Jun 2nd 9:57pm EDT
Blue Jays right-hander Kevin Gausman allowed four earned runs over six innings while taking the loss on Tuesday against the Braves.
Fantasy Impact:
Gausman didn't pitch poorly in this one, allowing five hits and two walks while striking out a hearty eight Braves in his six innings of work. However, a Matt Olson solo home run to lead off the bottom of the sixth proved to be the difference in a 4-3 Braves win. Road starts in Atlanta don't come easy, however, and Gausman still sports a quality 3.36 ERA and 1.09 WHIP through 13 starts on the season. He lines up for a home start against the Orioles on Sunday.
