Leiter has a 4.69 ERA, 1.37 WHIP, and 76:31 K:BB across 71 innings over 13 starts this season. He had won back-to-back starts entering Saturday, including a 10-strikeout performance over 5.2 scoreless innings his previous outing, before three scoreless frames against Cleveland gave way to a Jose Ramirez solo homer in the fourth.
Fantasy Impact:
The fifth inning unraveled with four runs on four hits and a walk, including another solo homer, before Leiter was lifted with two outs. The five runs allowed tied a season worst and marked the third time he has surrendered multiple home runs in a start. Leiter finished with two strikeouts across 4.2 innings in the loss.
