Bryce Elder turns in strong effort Sunday afternoon
by Nate Miller | Braves Correspondent | Sun, Jun 7th 4:50pm EDT
Bryce Elder allowed two runs on just two hits and two walks while striking out four over six innings in Sunday's 3-2 win against the Pirates.
Fantasy Impact:
After surrendering a homer to the very first batter of the game Sunday, Elder zoned in and shut the Pirates down, allowing just one more rally over six frames. Elder has delivered back-to-back quality outings for the Braves, and he now sports a 2.66 ERA with a 1.05 WHIP through 14 starts for the year. The 27-year-old righty will look to keep it going next weekend against the Mets.
