Nolan Arenado collects rare stolen base Saturday
by David Leisering | Diamondbacks Correspondent | Sun, Jun 14th 8:57am EDT
Nolan Arenado was hitless in four at bats, but did draw a walk and stole a base, in Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Reds.
Fantasy Impact:
Arenado walked and stole second in the first inning, but then was hitless with a pair of strikeouts in his other four trips to the plate. It was just his second stolen base of the season, and only the 33rd steal of his career - in 1,852 games played. Arenado is in a bit of a tailspin at the plate, hitting just .111 (4-for-36) with one RBI over his last 10 games. Overall, he is batting .243 with eight homers and 31 runs batted in across 65 games this season.
