Jake Bennett allows two runs over 5.1 innings

Jake Bennett took the loss against the Blue Jays on Wednesday after allowing two runs on three hits over 5.1 innings. He struck out five and did not issue a walk. The left-hander surrendered both runs in the third inning following a leadoff double and a single but otherwise kept Toronto’s lineup in check. Bennett generated six whiffs with his fastball and five more with his changeup.
Fantasy Impact:
Bennett’s strong command was on display, as he worked 5.1 innings without a walk while limiting the Blue Jays to three hits. He was removed after 79 pitches and is currently lined up for a two-start week with outings against the Rockies at Coors Field and the Yankees.
