Aroldis Chapman takes loss in ninth inning

Aroldis Chapman was charged with the loss Thursday after allowing one run in the ninth inning of a tie game. He gave up two hits, including a double by Brandon Valenzuela that bounced off the Green Monster. The run was the first Chapman had allowed since April 4.
Fantasy Impact:
Despite the loss, Chapman’s scoreless streak came to an end after more than two months without allowing a run. He was charged with just his second loss of the season.
