Framber Valdez allowed four earned runs on eight hits while striking out two over six innings in Saturday's 8-6 loss to the Astros.
Fantasy Impact:
Valdez has provided mixed results on the mound of late, allowing more than three earned in runs in four of his last eight contests. The left-hander has fought inconsistent command for much of the season for manager AJ Hinch, posting a 4.05 ERA and 1.33 WHIP with a 4-5 record and 7.3 K/9 ratio through 17 starts.
