Cody Freeman underwent surgery to repair a herniated disk in his neck on June 29 and is expected to begin baseball activities in approximately three weeks. (MLB.com)

Freeman has been on the 10-day injured list since June 25 with a herniated disk in his neck and has yet to be transferred to the 60-day injured list. A timetable for his return should emerge once he resumes baseball activities.
