The Athletics are hopeful Shea Langeliers can return to the lineup for Tuesday's series opener against the Tigers. (MLB.com)
Fantasy Impact:
Langeliers suffered a left thumb contusion in Friday's game against the Marlins while receiving a pitch in the fifth inning and eventually exited the game in the fourth inning. It appears he'll avoid a stint on the injured list and could return to the lineup Tuesday after a few days off. While he's sidelined, Jonah Heim will continue to start behind the plate.
