Tigers right-hander Jack Flaherty pitched 5 2/3 scoreless innings while earning the win in a 3-0 victory over the Rangers on Saturday.
Fantasy Impact:
Flaherty was just about as good as it gets in this one, allowing just three hits without walking a batter while punching out five Rangers hitters on the afternoon. He came just one out shy of a quality start, but has pitched 10 2/3 scoreless innings while allowing just five hits and three walks while striking out 14 in two starts since returning from the injured list. He owns a 4.60 ERA in 17 starts this season, but hasn't allowed more than three earned runs in a start since May 17. He lines up to take on the Phillies at home on Friday.
