Eduardo Valencia headed to bigs

With Dillon Dingler (hand) day-to-day right now, Valencia will head to the bigs for the first time. The 26-year-old Venezuelan has been in the Tigers' system since way back in 2018, but it's been this season and last that's really seen him break out with the bat. Valencia has produced a solid .840 OPS with 16 homers over 76 games at Triple-A this year. He is currently slotted as the Tigers' 21st-ranked prospect per MLB.com.
