Drew Anderson allowed three earned runs on five hits and one walk while striking out four over five innings in Saturday's loss to the Royals.

Anderson provided mixed results of late, allowing three earned runs in two of his last four trips to the mound. The right-hander offers manager AJ Hinch one of the more inconsistent options as part of a revamped Tigers rotation, posting a 4.09 ERA and 1.29 WHIP with a 4-5 record and 10.1 K/9 ratio across 44 appearances.
