Ryan Vilade went 1-for-1 with a three-run home run in Saturday's 6-1 victory over the Seattle Mariners.
Fantasy Impact:
Vilade pinch-hit for Cedric Mullins III in the seventh inning with left-hander Gabe Speier entering the game and delivered a 387-foot home run to left field, extending the Tampa Bay Rays’ lead to four runs. Despite the big swing, he has gone just 1-for-12 in limited action in July and is best left on waivers for now. While he owns a solid .794 OPS on the season, his lack of consistent playing time limits his fantasy value.
