Fantasy Impact:
Akin recently underwent an MRI that revealed an injury to his left ulnar collateral ligament, and he underwent surgery performed by Dr. Keith Meister on Wednesday. The southpaw will miss the remainder of the season and most of the 2027 campaign, as well.
