Framber Valdez has been reinstated from the bereavement list by the Detroit Tigers the club announced. (Detroit Tigers PR on Twitter)

Valdez returns after tending to a death in his family, with the left-hander scheduled to take the mound against the Chicago Cubs early next week for manager AJ Hinch. In a corresponding move, right-hander Beau Brieske was optioned to Triple-A Toledo.
