David Peterson gives up one run in no-decision Wednesday

by Nicholas Rodriguez | Cubs Correspondent |

David Peterson allowed one run on seven hits and three walks while striking out three across five innings in Thursday's 3-2 win over the Toronto Blue Jays.

Fantasy Impact:

Peterson's only run allowed came on a disengagement violation in the first inning, but he otherwise turned in five strong innings. While he owns a 5.35 ERA and 1.50 WHIP this season, he has been excellent of late, allowing two runs or fewer in five consecutive starts. Peterson is scheduled to make his next start on Thursday against the Washington Nationals.
