Luis Castillo allowed three earned runs on eight hits and one walk while striking out one over 4 2/3 innings in Monday’s 7-5 loss to the Cubs.
Fantasy Impact:
Castillo continues an underwhelming stretch of late, allowing three earned runs or more in five of his last six contests. The right-hander remains one of the riskier arms in the White Sox rotation for manager Will Venable, posting a 4.99 ERA and 1.37 WHIP with an 8.0 K/9 ratio and a 4-9 record across 23 appearances.
