Nick Martinez allowed six runs on nine hits and two walks while striking out five across 3.2 innings in Tuesday's 10-5 loss to the Toronto Blue Jays.

Martinez was unable to get through the fourth inning for the first time this season, allowing nine hits and six runs, including a two-run homer by Alejandro Kirk in the third inning. After posting a 2.65 ERA and 1.12 WHIP in the first half, he owns a 4.21 ERA and 1.18 WHIP across 36.1 innings since the All-Star break. His next scheduled start is on Sunday against the Baltimore Orioles.
