Jacob Lopez allowed one earned run on three hits and one walk while striking out nine over six innings in Saturday's win over the Astros.

Lopez continues a strong stretch of late, allowing two earned runs or less in each of his last seven contests. The left-hander remains another inconsistent arm in the Athletics rotation for manager Mark Kotsay, posting a 4.98 ERA and 1.48 WHIP with a 5-4 record and 8.6 K/9 ratio across 21 appearances.
