Kevin Durant shoots at 66 percent in team-high 25 points against Denver

On the court for 31 minutes in Friday night's home win against the Nuggets, Kevin Durant went 10-for-15, including 3-for-5 from three-point range. He also pulled down six rebounds, contributed nine assists, and committed three turnovers.

Fantasy Impact:

While his shot attempts have steadily declined over the past few games, and despite contesting with the return of Klay Thompson, Durant still managed to be the top scorer for the Warriors. Steve Kerr's strategy to reduce Durant's role on offense appears to have achieved its goal of increasing the forward's efficiency. The biggest benefit of the Warriors' decision to spread the ball more evenly (apart from giving Stephen Curry the most looks) is that Durant was open for the majority of his looks. He went 8-for-11 on shots while open (defenders more than four feet away). While his points ceiling has been capped, Durant can be expected to put up consistently high numbers in the new Warriors set-up.
