DeMar DeRozan struggles for once from the field in loss

DeMar DeRozan had his first off game of the year on Monday night against the Pelicans. DeRozan finished with 21 points, six rebounds, five assists, one steal, and three turnovers in 31 minutes. This was just an off game for the Spurs in general which explains why DeRozan struggled from the field but still went 7-for-7 from the free-throw line.

Fantasy Impact:

DeRozan was shooting 49% from the field coming into this game, but after finishing 7-for-19 from the field, DeRozan has now shot 47% or lower over his past seven games. This shouldn't worry owners as of yet since we're not even 20 games into the year but we should also keep an eye on the situation given that the Spurs have looked very streaky as of late. DeRozan is still a must-start but don't expect him to tear up the stat sheet against a gritty Grizzlies team.
