Kevin Durant out Friday versus Lakers

Kevin Durant left before halftime of Thursday night's game with Golden State after twisting his ankle on a drive to the basket. X-rays were negative but Durant will not play Friday versus the Lakers. He is considered day-to-day and remains questionable for the Thunder's next game on Sunday. (ESPN)
Fantasy Impact:
Durant was well on his way to what could have been a career night. He had scored 30 points in only 18 minutes before leaving with the injury. Good news is that the ankle is not broken and is not considered serious. The Thunder are taking extra precaution with their superstar as he missed the first 17 games of the season with a foot injury. Perry Jones makes a great value option in daily leagues as he will most likely receive the start in Durant's place.
