by Zachary Hanshew | Timberwolves Correspondent | Sun, Jun 30th 11:40pm EDT

Former Nets and Lakers guard D'Angelo Russell will go to the Golden State Warriors in a sign-and-trade deal, per Adrian Wojnarowski. (Adrian Wojnarowski on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Just like that, the Warriors have begun to rebuild the roster post-Kevin Durant with another star signing. Russell will join Steph Curry to form one of the most talented backcourts in the NBA. Russell led the Nets to the playoffs last season, was selected as an All-Star for the first time, and made a serious bid for Most Improved Player with career highs in points (21.1), assists (7.0), and three-point percentage (36.9).
