Derrick Favors returns, plays 15 minutes

In the Pelicans' 116-109 loss to the Sixers, Derrick Favors finished with eight points and eight rebounds in his first game back from a long layoff. He also shot 4-for-10 from the field.
Fantasy Impact:
If the Pelicans have any aspirations of turning this season around, then they should hope that Favors will be healthy moving forward. New Orleans' interior defense has been atrocious, to say the least, with Favors out, and it is reasonable to assume that it will only get better now that he has returned. For now, expect quiet nights like this while he gets back to game shape, but owners are hoping that he can be productive again after a few games. You can bench him, but if you are looking for big man stats, then give him a look.
