Thaddeus Young leads team with 22 point double-double

by Dave Kluge | Suns Correspondent | Fri, Feb 21st 10:34am EST

Thaddeus Young recorded 22 points (10-18 FG, 2-3 3PT), 11 rebounds, four steals, one assist, and one block over 36 minutes in Thursday's 103-93 loss to the Hornets.

Fantasy Impact:

Young has now started for 10 games in the wake of Lauri Markkanen's hip injury and has turned in a double-digit scoring effort in every contest. Over his time as a starter he is averaging 13.8 points, 6.3 rebounds, 1.7 steals, 1.6 assists, and 0.5 blocks. He is making a case that he should have a larger role for the rest of the season and is worth an add in all leagues. Markkanen is expected back by the end of February but Young has made his impression in his opportunity and should see more minutes going forward.
